i was supposed to upload these pictures sometime back. but i guess i was pretty busy to do that. anyways, here it goes, first to the pretty sky on chinese new year 1st day of visiting. whoever knows that it's going to pour later in the day! haha. second to the usual 'hou lei' at my cousin's place. take note of the extra helping of crackers added! hahha, to feed the little ones soul. and for us, they added extra raw salmon. woots. and third to my pretty cousins to see how much we have change within a year! i must say, they are the beauties and my ultimate loves(:

and so overall, i have been rather happy this chinese new year season. well not only does it content my tummy for all the fabulous feast, my soul's happy too! cause i feel that a little luck is on my side. ;)

well i just returned home from a tiring but simply awesome day out.


everyday is just getting better and better. life is pretty much smooth sailing overall so far. even thou so, i must say i really miss some of my secondary school friends! i suppose they know who they are.

some random thoughts:
- its rather boring now cause my parents are all alsleep
- i feel like eating strawberries
- i hope i can wake up in time for tuition tml
- this cny has been rather meaningful and enjoyable, i hope it continues for the rest of the days in the year
- really love the angel keychain on my handphone(: well, plus the pink crystal heart
- i cant wait for the family gathering tml!

and and and, im sleepy now. so beauty sleep calls.

cny was pretty great catching up with my relatives from my paternal and maternal sides. well, not forgetting all the wonderful food. which means, putting on the extra pounds. hahah.

and indeed, one can change alot throughout the span of a year. not only in terms of appearance but in terms of behavior and thinking. yes, for the better. i look around i noticeed that plenty of my cousins are no longer those little kids who used to run around the place playing those childish games that made us laugh. now, they are all grown up, tall and rather matured. besides that, i realised that alot of people around me are looking better and better! which is a pleasant sweet sight. when you are happy with life, overall you would start feeling better and living life better(: - which means, looking nicer! XD

within the one year i changed pretty much, went through some tough times and grew up quite a bit. this year, according to the chinese calendar, i would be twenty (arghs, hitting the two mark). no longer the little girl mindset i used to have. but that doesnt mean that i throw away the little girl in me. cause its something that would stay for all time.


i can feel the chinese new year spirit in the air!

just returning home from tuition today. so sweet, i received free lunch at the little girl's house; she asked her mum to get me one of her favourite burger (from mos burger) so that we can share and enjoy. lol, really cute. and i taught her the common chinese greetings like "gong xi fa cai". she can pronounce them rather well(:

now, a 'new' year is here. the year of the pig. lets welcome it with open arms and awaits the pleasant surprises! i believe that it would be a much smooother year ahead! cuz pigs are rather cute =X .

i cant wait for reunion dinner tonight. im so glad im having it at my grandma's house rather than having it in some restrauant waiting for the chef to prepare and stuff. now i think i can even smell my grannie's cooking from here! hahhas. i hope that today everyone would turn up for the dinner(: i think chinese new year is really an expensive festival. with all the shopping for new household stuff, new clothes to delicious goodies with traditional 'lucky' meaning behind them, new year decoration for the house and also all the heavenly food like fish, duck, abalone, etc; not forgetting the red packets! but if not for this festival, i guess our house would be really untidy and messy all the time, filled with junk we hardly even use for years. - now we have neat, clean and tidy house XD

two more days to chinese new year.
Just around a couple of months ago, we were wondering why cny falls later than usual (instead of the usual jan) - now its just 2 days away. The usual last minute marketing, cleaning up, preparation of stuff becomes a common routine. Nearly every household returns home with bags and bags of stuff from practically anywhere. I believe finance growth of spore surely increase during this month of Feb.

i simply cant wait for the delicious pineapple tarts, almond cookies, gummies, nuts, love letters, my grannie's fabulous cooking and the wonderful abalone and mushroom soup my mum prepares only on cny. - drrroools. (the list goes on and on)

Besides that, the long awaited holidays are once again here. This time, longer than ever, of 2 full months of rest. Which means, more time for fun in the sun(: Talking about sun, i had a soul pleasing time at the swimming pool today. exercising is fun, i should make it a point to exercise once a week, or even better, twice a week. X)

yesterday, i went over to my dearest cousin house to bake cookies! we baked peanut butter cookies (for cny) and cute cupcakes with pink icing! weee. even though those i made were not as nice as those she made, i still enjoyed myself. - homemade; with love
and i didn realised it was raining until a distance away, so i walked home in the rain. its quite a pleasant feeling thou, the rain drops were soft and gentle. but i was kinda soaked when i reached home. im glad my cookies werent wet thou.

Valentines day, yesterday-

its a pretty day. with the sun shining brightly and wind blowing gently.
its a special day, not only for people with the other better half; its also a day to show your close friends or people who matters that you love them and care for them(:

with the pretty roses, cards, lollipop, candies; makes me a happy little girl.
it started out well, i think its going to be better.

and now i must say, retail therapy works wonders.
seriously, it just makes your day with all the pretty clothes/bags/shoes/etc.
sometimes it really makes me one happy girl.

and what's best, i've completed my CNY shopping! woots.

And its funny how i keep feeling like eating non-stop. chocolate, candy floss, burger, chicken, fries, fruits, jellies. oh my, i wonder when my random cravings would stop.

but hey, chinese new year is round the corner. i cant wait to pig out on all the tasty goodies! weees(: it is a brand new year with brand new beginning again.

so, long school holidays has arrived. and mayb, just mayb mine started in advanced! =X
