((: today's the prelim round for SYYC (Singapore Yoyo Championship). and, i hope that he will make it to the finals! ((: Good luck! hugs!

yesterday i brought my little kids on a field trip to the zoo! weees. its the first time i went to the zoo with my children and it was a fun experience. even though it was tiring, but it was worth it. everyone enjoyed themselves and the best part of it was that, no mishap happened! ((: cheers and good job to all the teachers! for my class, i was proud of my kids that they were able to walk through the whole trip without much complaining. and considering the fact that they were walking from around 10am to around 2.30pm? haha. but too bad i didn't manage to take much photos with my camera because it was low battery!!! even though i made sure that i fully charged my battery the night before... sighhhs. i learn my lesson to bring an extra battery next time round. =/

and im looking forward to the coming weekend. (:
enjoy your weekends everyone!

do you think that there is something wrong with the weather now a days? its getting far too humid and hot!!! even if the fan is on at full-blast, it feels that it is blowing warm wind. roar! i wish that teachers will be allowed to bathe in school. haha. well, not in the children's toilet thou. lol.

anyways, on the brighter note, alex is back from the states! ((: and i can't wait to meet up with her! haha. we have been keeping in touch for the past few months, but nothing really beats actually meeting up and chit chatting with her!

and ivp is coming soon... like 1 more month left to train. i hope that RP will do well this year! train hard peeps. ((:

everyone else, have a happy week!

recently i have done some interesting art pieces in my Creative Arts Module. i remember doing a creative art module back then in poly. even though both modules has the same names, it is totally different. nearly 180 degrees different. the one in new media teaches us how to think out of the box and do unconventional things. however, the one in early childhood teaches us to use specific art techniques to encourage children to do and learn. we are given like guidelines and stuff to follow and do while the one in poly had no guidelines at all. haha.
but i must say after all the time spend in doing art pieces for the module, i have some pretty nice art pieces done by my team that i'm really proud of. (:

My cosy princess house! We were supposed to make a home out of a shoe box given limited materials like scotch-tape, paint, glue, scissors and magazine. and straight away i wanted to create a pink pink princessy house! haha.

and this is made of magazine paper teared into tiny pieces and sticked onto an A3 drawing board. we nearly teared and glued the pieces till we went cross-eye. lol. but it was fun to see our final creation of the beautiful butterfly soaring in the sky.

recently, i have been very tired at work. i think that im nearly stretched to my potential. =/ just on friday, i had nearly all the bad possible cases in a day. first a scratching case that has blood involved, next a biting case that has teeth mark and blue black, next a child that has fever so we needed to let her rest and stuff, next i had a new child in my class who does not follow class routine and stuff. tell me about being stressed. especially when i need to call up so many parents. roar. ): sometimes i feel that me and my co-teacher cannot really cope.. but what else can we say? everytime we ask for extra help, you say you will help us. but did it really happen before? did you really provide us with the help we need? =/

Anyway on the brighter side, i went wakeboarding with maggie today!!! ((: i think this is the first time we book and ride together after we have said we want to ride together like ages!!! haha. it was good! and lucky her going to get a new board. (: so she was trying out boards. but i think she is suited to use a much faster board than mine. because she kept asking paul to speed up. haha. but still it was good to have company to ride together. (:

Today was the first time i went to have a little booth at a simple flea market at Senja Road (in bukit panjang). And it was fun fun fun! haha. even though it was a simple event to attract all the neighbourhood people, it was quite enjoyable. haha. i went down to open my booth at around 12 plus? before i can even lay out all my stuff, there were so many people crowding around and looking at my stuff! haha. and of course, i was happy to be able to sell things that people liked!

well, i sold stuff like my old collections of archie comics, some random stationery or stuff which i have bought and not used before. haha. and i went with 2 huge bags and i sold more than half of my things! haha. ((: the outcome was much better than what i have expected it to be! hehe.

the other stores there sold old clothes, shoes, or brand new stuff like clocks and all that. and i realised that people there don't really go for all those clothes and stuff. but they do like books. i sold all my old archies. haha. its kinda sad that after collecting it for so long i sold them off at around $1-$1.50 each! anyways, i wouldn't read it now... so must well share it with others who would appreciate it. haha.

((: yes, i had a good sunday!
hope that the following week would be a good week!

after all the hardwork and training we have gone through, the last thing i want to see is that our hard work to go down the drain. and all the efforts we have put in to to be in vain.

but realistically speaking, i dont expect the same happiness we had last year. for we are not showing that we deserve the happiness and the same medals as we had last year.

what happen to the team spirit?
what happen to the determination to train and excel?
what happen to constantly progressing for better and more perfect tricks?

weeks to the competition and if something needs to be done, it better be done soon... its time to stop feeling complacent with ourself and progress for better improvement.
or else, do not wish for anything to happen in our favour when we did not put in our hardwork.

its like, sitting for an exam and not studying, you expect to get an A. thats not going to happen.

work hard.
practice hard.
work hard.
practice hard.
work hard.
practice hard.
thats the formula to win.

HAPPY LABOUR DAY! ((:

I love public holidays! haha. who doesn't! and labour day is a day for us to relax and enjoy after slogging and working and making it to the 5th month of year 2009. this really shows that time flies! before we know it, we are into the 5th month for the year already.

and i received a nice pink labeller for labour day! (: from my dearest. haha.

thanks to my labeller i can now print pretty stickers with my names and some fancy borders and label anything and everything around! haha. and i can bring it to school and label all my children's stuff. instead of having to keep writing with a permanent marker for them. lol. and the best part is... it is PINK in colour! haha. ((: It's hard to find it in pink as everywhere sells blue/black colour... its awesome to receive a present on labour day to help me ease my workload. haha. and its fun to play with! let me know if you need labels of your name yeah! i'll be glad to print some for you! haha. ((:

And today i will be going out with my mum to celebrate mothers' day in advanced! ((: it's been sometime since i last went out with her! and i miss that feeling! haha. but going out with her means plenty of eating and eating! haha. ((:

look at the pretty fluffy clouds in blue blue sky... isn't it perfect for wakeboarding? haha.

have a happy holiday everyone! (:
