just yesterday i went for my wisdom tooth operation. i dont understand why the wisdom tooth have to grow at such a weird position, with only 10% of it seen when i open my mouth and the other 90% submerged in the gum, i think near the bone. and its nearly as big as a 10 cent coin!

It started at 10am when i reached there and my heart pounded as it its about to jump out. when i sat down on the chair, he checked my tooth again and explained to me what he was going to do. since my tooth is really huge, he needed to drilled it into half. so he started by injecting me thrice to make half of my mouth feel really numb. after that, he started cutting my gum i think. it felt weird but it wasnt really painful la. the worst feeling came when he started drilling. in the beginning it still feels rather okay, just that the sound was really disgusting like some construction site. but once he drilled deeper and deeper, it felt really painful! the pain shot right up to the right brain as if my brain was going to split into two, and that wasnt it, the pain even shot down to my jaw bone and neck. cuz theres nerves in the tooth that is connected to other nerves in the body. it never seemed to end! i just constantly tell myself: "its okay, its going to be over. shirley you can do it!" but it seems like ages before he stop drilling. once he stopped, i teared from all the internal pain. lol.

thats just one part of it, the next was the extracting. its like pulling ur whole nerve out, the one near the ear and the jaw bone. ARRGHHH! super painful. though i couldnt feel what he was doing in my mouth i felt the nerve. i didnt know when he told me one side of the tooth was out, left the other inner side only. i only know it was so pain, i couldnt think of anything else except to get the other part of the tooth out. my mum saw the operation and told me that he changed 3 pilers just to get the other side out. he was like pulling a nail from the wall and the nurse even have to hold my head for support! eeeeeeee, thank god i closed my eyes. cannot imagine man. and he showed my mum the hole where the tooth was, she said its so deep like a canal. lol. well, a bloody one.

before he stitched the hole up, he cleaned the wound and put some stuff in the wound that will stop the bleeding. he said usually he only put one of that stuff, but for mine, he put two cuz i was really bleeding a lot. i looked around his tray and saw alot of gauze filled with my blood. Eeeeee! den he took out this curved needle to sew up the hole. the thread's blue! but he said it will dissolve so i dun have to go back and remove the stitches. after that, i can gooo hommmeee.

the whole day my head felt rather heavy from all the drilling and stuff. i took twice long naps. once the numbness wore off around 1 hour later, you really feel the pain in the mouth. ehh, pain that you cannot describe. you just got to sleep it off. but you cannot lie on your left the other side of the mouth, cause you can feel the blood flowing downwards from the top. you cannot lie on your right cause the whole right side of your face feels pain. just got to sleep at the particular angle. lol. even when i drank water, its like drinking blood. it didnt stop bleeding until late at night. however, i sneezed! and it started bleeding again. lol. but for a while only la. sneezing is painful. haha.

comes the eating part. even thou one side of the mouth can chew, its better not too. cause i felt blood coming out from the wound. so the stuff i ate must be really really soft. and the pieces in my porridge were still too big, thus i needed to cut them into smaller pieces using a scissors. and my meal took me 1 hour to eat finish one and a half bowl of porridge. once i finished my last mouth, its like the first few mouth i swallowed were digested already. but well, at least i can still eat! hahas. i even had yogurt and jellies. one of my few favourites.((:

today, i felt much better! after resting for 11 hours last night from 10pm - 9am this morning. i think sleep is good! it makes you feel better and forget the pain. hahas. and i really feel much better today. can talk more! hhas. though im not really supposed to talk cuz it tend to move the muscles near the wound. and take longer time to recover. :( its not good, shirley loves to talk. well i guess i could do with minimal talking. hahas. at least, its not swollen like some elephant's mouth. (: but just that i cannot smile widely. hehehs. but i can type :D

yea, shirley you can do it! (: you will recover sooon enough. ehehs.

part 2 of wakeboarding intro course today. even though there wasnt as many people as last week, it was still rather fun! and guess what, im blogging from the swwf office just after my fresh bath! X) furthermore, because some people didnt turn up for the intro course, we are entitled to a free slot each. SUPERB. (: i managed to master the trick i was learning last week. and furthermore, maybe i can proceed to learning some thing big and new the next lesson. hahahs.

but the only thing is that, i lost yet another rubber band and a hairclip. well, i think that makes the 3rd lost rubber band and countless hairclip. lol!

however, it is still really enjoyable and fun((:
im hungry though, havent ate anything since morning, well except for the chicken in basket biscuits which tastes like heaven when you are feeling sooo hungry. and i mean sooo hungry. and im still hungry now. lol.

shall go find some food.

If you had one chance to improve something that happened yesterday, what would that be?

I would make sure that tuition for the little girl would be more entertaining and fun rather than just another lesson. Both me and her thought that Sunday would be our last lesson. We planned what we wanted to do during the lesson and stuff, but only after yesterday's lesson we den know that it is our last lesson together. How i wish i made it more fun, by having more english activities rather than just doing assessment books. =/ I'm so going to miss sitting at the little room at the corner teaching her stuff and all. Sometimes eating snacks together.

but, yesterday i saw her sis and the tuition teacher crying... arghs. ): why must they goo.....

But at least we are going out together on Sunday afternoon. ((:
Lets just think about the good times now shall we?


Wakeboard IG had our first dry training in the school gym on Friday(:
as a team we ran round the school for warming up sessions and back to the gym to learn how to exercise and train some important muscle groups needed for our wakeboarding. we didnt do much that day because we were basically getting used to what we are supposed to do in the following sessions. its quite fun i must say.

and yesterday was our first intro course for 2007. the group of people who turned up were a pretty cool bunch of people with lots of potential. i hope to see the IG grow into something big and successful. hehes. the weather was really really hot yesterday. with all the running up and down from the dock to the land covering the different dry training aspects, indeed was tiring but fulfilling((: and i got my dose of riding and jumping on the water. hahahs. and we even went to eat after that at geylang's famous beef hor fun stall. (i was nearly half-dead due to the lack of food. imagine, no food from 9am-5.30pm)

i cant wait for my next time on the water.
especially seeing all the the cute little splashes made with the board. XD

Was a pretty experience sitting amongst the sports men/women. Watching as award receivers from various recognised IG went up to receive their prizes. out of which, i'm proud of hazmi (yr 2 sem 1 classmate) who received sportsman of the year award and ben (yr 3 sem 1 classmate) who received captain of the year award! not forgetting the two teams of the year - Dragon boat and floor ball. ((:

I hope that probably next year, wakeboard IG would have some prize recipients too. as a team, as a club, we should work towards success! - no pain no gain(:

today's been rather tiring. its so sad that the korean girl im teaching is leaving soooon. like soooon. i think i left the last 4 lessons with her? it feels like i am actually losing a sister. after the past 9 months, i've shared alot of memories with her listening to her problems her joy and laughers. but at least im glad that i did manage to leave some footsteps in her life and also seeing her english improving from day to day. (: im proud of her cause she really achieved alot within the short span of 9 months. but, on the other down note, there goes my source of incomeeeee. :((

weees, i changed a new pretty pink skin. decided to try a new style with everything shown; rather than the common links. this time, decided to add more cute twirls and swirls to it(:

went wakeboarding again on sunday. was really tiring i must say. its like you have so much to achieve in so little time. but you fall and you learn from the mistakes. a pretty good experience. not every practise is perfect. there could be rider's block too. haha.
ATLEAST, i accomplished my 1 wake jumps. (heel side mostly) moremoremore practices! weees;

and finally, i got to eat the prawn noodle again! (Jalan sultan's prawn noodle)

sometimes i know letting go of something close to your heart is tough. everyone somehow or rather will face this problem at some point of their life. but its the matter of whether you have the courage and determination to let it go. sometimes, holding on just makes it harder as days goes by.

but my dearest cousin made it sweet and special by baking these wonderful chocolate cupcakes. (: its directing and performance module today. we spent like nearly the whole day rehearsing and practising, thus no lunch. lol.

but well, its kinda in the name of fun.
