its a funny feeling to look back upon your life and realize how many things are running through your mind. you have like a million and one things to complete. maybe out of which half of them seems super important to you while the other half are not as relavant yet important in weird significant ways. top on my mind now would be my final year project, pp presentation, work, graduation, driving, etccccc. the list never ends. once it does, another list starts rolling in. i guess thats how life becomes more meaningful. when you have goals to accomplish and things to do. but then again, there are things you got to miss out when you are trying to accomplish your stuff. see those minor like catching up with friends, having quality time with family. its just part and parcel of life right? you cant really get the best of both worlds. when we were young we wanted to grow up to get more freedom and stuff. but it isnt as magical as how we expect it to be when we were young. no wonder its always good to be young, toddler when people shower you with love, where the only worries was 'where did my favourite toy go?' now, we have expectations to meet, and things are just no longer the same. maybe this comes with age. the older you get, the more independent you have to be. no more relying on anything or anyone. afterall the future lies in your own hand right? every choice and every move now sort of shapes how your future becomes.Labels: Rants, Thoughts

now that christmas is over, new year is fast approaching! anyways, i hope that you all had a wonderful christmas! (: here's some photos of my christmas celebration this year.
At my dad's side we had a major family gathering with all the christmas goodies you can ever imagine. ranging from turkey, to ham, to meat pie, to meat balls, salad, cakes, jellies, chocolate, cookies, wine, etcetc... it just goes on and on. haha. well, let some photos do some talking.

weeee, christmas is round the corner. and im so happy that i did some christmas shopping already. hopefully the dear ones around me will like their christmas presents! (:
and as usual, this christmas eve i will be spending with my family. and this year we will be going to auntie jasmine's new house for christmas. i cant wait for all the awesome christmas feast prepared with love by my aunties. and every year, it just taste better than the previous. what i really look forward is meeting my cousins and all catching up on our life and stuff.

finally yesterday i went wakeboarding with VAL again!!! haha. for life seh, like after so longgggg... and i haven seen her in a while because she happily went overseas. lol. and im stuck here to do project after projects! well, wakeboarding is just my form of get-away.
christmas is just round the corner and i look forward to it more if i dun have stupid fyp bugging my conscience on how much more left for me to complete. GRRRs. anyways, its public holiday today! so im outtta here to do more eating and shopping.

happy holidays everyone! (:its school holidays + festive holidays but im so gonna be stucked at home rushing my fyp which is due in like 2 weeks time? haha. it sounds and it feels really sad.
but the past few days was pretty fun. just last weekend 15th and 16th we had the red bull kicker jam incorporating singapore nationals wakeboarding competition. yoyo and i were invited to join and of course since we haven rode for like agessss, we felt rusty! haha. but still yoyo came in 5th! lol. and we only had a few girls to compete with thus all advanced to finals. haha. and all in the name of fun.
during the finals in the competition, my heart nearly stopped beating when i saw how big the wake was! lol. super scary like nearly twice the size of the normal ones with the boat loaded with judges and media people. ewwws, lol. probably my first time entering finals. and i guess i needa be trained more under pressure because i still get scared and cannot land tricks that i usually can during trainings.
yesterday we had the after-event party at loof and as usual, the girls had cam-whoring sessions again. haha. lucky we left early to spare us from all the drinks that would come. afterall we had a little plenty too much of red bull during the event. lol.
hopefully i can nail that toe-side 2 wake. haha.

it's been a really really busy and hectic week. haha. with the part time job and stuff. butbutbut, i finally saved enough money and bought my long awaited
creative zen at the recent IT show. (: take it as an an advanced christmas present for myself. i was really lucky that i went down there to get mine. cause i received a pretty sum of free gifts! haha. they gave me 3 screen protectors, power adaptor (usually they only have USB charger), a set of speakers and a casing! haha. awesomeee. now it has became my new toy.
and everything has been going prettysmoothly now. i hope it goes on this way and probably having more jobs in! haha. plus graduation is around 6 weeks away not including holidays. oh my. 6 weeks. and my fyp still not completed. better get down to doing some stuff now. lol.
on the high high note, today is
YOYO's birthday! (:
