just yesterday i went for my wisdom tooth operation. i dont understand why the wisdom tooth have to grow at such a weird position, with only 10% of it seen when i open my mouth and the other 90% submerged in the gum, i think near the bone. and its nearly as big as a 10 cent coin!

It started at 10am when i reached there and my heart pounded as it its about to jump out. when i sat down on the chair, he checked my tooth again and explained to me what he was going to do. since my tooth is really huge, he needed to drilled it into half. so he started by injecting me thrice to make half of my mouth feel really numb. after that, he started cutting my gum i think. it felt weird but it wasnt really painful la. the worst feeling came when he started drilling. in the beginning it still feels rather okay, just that the sound was really disgusting like some construction site. but once he drilled deeper and deeper, it felt really painful! the pain shot right up to the right brain as if my brain was going to split into two, and that wasnt it, the pain even shot down to my jaw bone and neck. cuz theres nerves in the tooth that is connected to other nerves in the body. it never seemed to end! i just constantly tell myself: "its okay, its going to be over. shirley you can do it!" but it seems like ages before he stop drilling. once he stopped, i teared from all the internal pain. lol.

thats just one part of it, the next was the extracting. its like pulling ur whole nerve out, the one near the ear and the jaw bone. ARRGHHH! super painful. though i couldnt feel what he was doing in my mouth i felt the nerve. i didnt know when he told me one side of the tooth was out, left the other inner side only. i only know it was so pain, i couldnt think of anything else except to get the other part of the tooth out. my mum saw the operation and told me that he changed 3 pilers just to get the other side out. he was like pulling a nail from the wall and the nurse even have to hold my head for support! eeeeeeee, thank god i closed my eyes. cannot imagine man. and he showed my mum the hole where the tooth was, she said its so deep like a canal. lol. well, a bloody one.

before he stitched the hole up, he cleaned the wound and put some stuff in the wound that will stop the bleeding. he said usually he only put one of that stuff, but for mine, he put two cuz i was really bleeding a lot. i looked around his tray and saw alot of gauze filled with my blood. Eeeeee! den he took out this curved needle to sew up the hole. the thread's blue! but he said it will dissolve so i dun have to go back and remove the stitches. after that, i can gooo hommmeee.

the whole day my head felt rather heavy from all the drilling and stuff. i took twice long naps. once the numbness wore off around 1 hour later, you really feel the pain in the mouth. ehh, pain that you cannot describe. you just got to sleep it off. but you cannot lie on your left the other side of the mouth, cause you can feel the blood flowing downwards from the top. you cannot lie on your right cause the whole right side of your face feels pain. just got to sleep at the particular angle. lol. even when i drank water, its like drinking blood. it didnt stop bleeding until late at night. however, i sneezed! and it started bleeding again. lol. but for a while only la. sneezing is painful. haha.

comes the eating part. even thou one side of the mouth can chew, its better not too. cause i felt blood coming out from the wound. so the stuff i ate must be really really soft. and the pieces in my porridge were still too big, thus i needed to cut them into smaller pieces using a scissors. and my meal took me 1 hour to eat finish one and a half bowl of porridge. once i finished my last mouth, its like the first few mouth i swallowed were digested already. but well, at least i can still eat! hahas. i even had yogurt and jellies. one of my few favourites.((:

today, i felt much better! after resting for 11 hours last night from 10pm - 9am this morning. i think sleep is good! it makes you feel better and forget the pain. hahas. and i really feel much better today. can talk more! hhas. though im not really supposed to talk cuz it tend to move the muscles near the wound. and take longer time to recover. :( its not good, shirley loves to talk. well i guess i could do with minimal talking. hahas. at least, its not swollen like some elephant's mouth. (: but just that i cannot smile widely. hehehs. but i can type :D

yea, shirley you can do it! (: you will recover sooon enough. ehehs.
