and so the Ripcurl IVP competition ended after Tuesday.
but it was really fun but tiring. haha. on the first day, it was the qualification round for all the categories. Women's novice started in the early afternoon and completing among another 24 other ladies. it was a tough fight especially in my heat where all were super strong, leaving me coming in last for the heat. but luckily there was another round of last chance qualifier! (: top 8 were choosen for semi-finals. so the rest of us have to fight for the next 8 places. and im glad to come in 2nd for my heat and enter the semi-finals. weees, so happy. furthermore, with my mere 4 months of experience as compared to the rest of the girls i managed to make it to semi-finals.

the next day came in a flash, the day of the semi-finals. i guess somehow there were butterfiles in my tummy! i fell on a really stupid trick during my passes. and i didnt make it through to the finals. but its all about the fun and experience. i really thank my friends for their constant support and encouragement. even those from tp who cheered for me and encouraged me. (:

it was a really nice experience hanging out with the other wakeboarding peeps from other schools as well. and i must say they really ride impressively well. i hope that one day, our school team will be able to reach that level too! and im happy for P who won 1st in the Men's open category.
