have you always wanted to find a quiet cozy corner that brings you away from the noisy urban lifestyle that serves great food in a perfect country ambience?
well i came across this place, smack in the middle of town but surprisingly as it seems, when you enter the place the last thing you will think about is that it is in town. It isnt crowded like other places where you have to queue for a long time to get in and still have to wait a mighty long time for your food. Here, they serve generous portion of delicious food at a rather reasonable price and of course, a reasonable waiting time.

Look at this seafood baked rice that i tried the other time. Unlike other baked rice, this was filled with a generous serving of fresh seafood from big prawns to thick slices of fish, sotongs and fresh white mushroom. It is topped with melted cheese that doesnt taste too overpowering as it is thinly spread across the rice, leaving the rice slightly moist from the juiciness of the seafood and all combined together at a mere price of around S$19.

Another dish is made up of fried beef, gives beef steak a new take. Unlike the normal beef steak where you have to slice it carefully with the knife, this is much easier to eat. The beef is slightly minced without losing the sweetness of the beef, plus its topped with creamy thick mushroom sauce. The combination of taste is perfect as it compliments the fried beef, making it feel gentle to the tounge rather than an oily after taste. Also around the price of S$19.

If you are one that loves drnking soup, just upgrade your meal to a set meal that comes with a big bowl of soup and drink at an additional S$4.90. What i love about the soup is the ingredients included in the soup that makes the soup taste just right and tasteful. Not like any other soup that feels thin or too thick that makes you feel bored or sick of the taste after a few mouthful. And if you scoop around the soup, you will see the ingredients in the soup. The clams in the clamchower soup is real and not just for show. But of course, the taste of it is in the soup.
Wonder where this place is?
Surf and Turf (Seafood and Steak) is located in the middle of
