Last tuesday was wakeboard team trials. its like the first ever team trial in RP and finally our IG grew to a commentable stage. it might be far away from being the best, but at least we are trying and we are growing. ((:
I'm glad at that time me and yoyo decided to take on the decision to bring the IG up. The countless number of proposals, meeting, planning and so on. and now we have stepped down and left the club in good hands of Brenda and our year ones. i do see hope in them for doing the school proud even if we are not there!
I know how some year ones gt nervous cuz its like their first ever compeition experience and it was a good one i must say. everyone did pretty well and i guess we had fun riding with all our members. and it was my first time being a judge! haha.

and it got me kinda hooked to brush up my skills. (:
yes, i really love splashes made by the water.

isnt a blog supposed to be a place where one gets to rant their thoughts? and why do poltics happen because of one's feelings? afterall it is one's personal thoughts and everyone have different thoughts. couldnt that be enough to why people see things differently? i get upset when i see people around me getting slammed because they voice their thoughts or what.
anyways, i was just looking through some of the assesments my primary 3 student is doing. and they are really tough for a 9 year old. i bet at that age i dont even know half of what they are studying now. can you imagine, for vocab these are some of the words they need to know:
- propel- expedition- contemporary - legible - percived - terrians - perseverance how many times have we used these words before? and they are just 9 years old and they are supposed to know the meaning of those words. i wonder how will the education be like when we have kids?

recently there was this Subaru challenge going on at Taka since saturday afternoon. Its just amazing how these people can last until today! Every year when this happen, i will be so amazed by the determination of those people who made it through to days without sleep, food or water. And i will keep close to the radio speakers to hear any latest updates on the progress on the survivors.
For the past i think 4 years, the winners were all males. finally there is a female who won this year and not only did she won the contest, she broke all records set previously by all other winners! awesome, the power of female. (: She clocked the timing of 77hours and 15 mins! I went down yesterday and already saw that the females are much stronger den the males, it proved to be right cuz the female was eventually the winner. today i went there after wakeboard and coolness, it was down to the last 3 female battling for the car. And indeed they were strict. there were cameras placed to eye on their hands, making sure that it does not move out of place. on top of that, there were marshals all around looking at their hand. every single movement of the finger or the palm will cuz them to be disqualified. well, thats how the 3rd and 2nd got knocked out.
but i think no matter what, they did a good job to last so long. and they deserve credit for it as well. for all last 3 women out of the 200 that started out on saturday afternoon to last till 77 hours.
This is the winner car: car number 10

If you can see, 379 was the position she was standing at. (:

The 25 year-old girl that created history! haha.

and finally, im of age to join the contest. shall try to dial in next yr.
the contest of determination and mindpower. haha.
