weeee. im such a lucky soul who got tickets to watch the F1 match on Friday! haha. even though it wasnt the F1 match like saturday and sunday, being able to watch the practice was an eye-opener itself. (:
its funny how a person like me will end up there among the crowd, trying to get a glimse of the speed-lighting vehicle travel pass the track infront of us in a mere split second. haha. furthermore, im not one who is into this kind of thing. but i was lucky that someone related couldnt make it last minute and passed the tickets on to me. lol. for starters, the F1 entrance passes were awesome. they already shows how good and grand the event would be.
the first time i saw it race pass me, i got a shock at how fast it was! lol. plus i manage to catch Vodafone with hopefully it was Lweis Hamilton inside. i saw the super hot Ferrari speed past too! and tried to take a couple of shots of the wonderful sight but gave up after a while as my ear drums were spliting at how LOUD the vehicle was when it passed me. lol. thus my hands were busy covering my ears! :x wanted to get ear plugs but the cheap ones were sold out and the rest ranged from S$5-40 per pair! imagine just getting one to use for like the next 1 hour i was there? not too worth it i guess.
the stalls sold pretty much nice collectables. however at a really over-priced rate. like how a simple plastic pen with the F1 logo and words costed S$10. and a simple tiny keychain costed at least S$25 and above. caps were also sold at S$40 and above. gosh! everything is sooo expensive. even a little sticker cost S$10! lol.
there were many gates we can enter because mine was the "walkabout" passes which means i will not be able to sit at the grandstand. but i guess walking around was more fun as we can constantly move around to get different views. i entered in at gate 7 which is near singapore flyer and walked around for the whole night! haha. to think that i wanted to try to go in through the other gates as well! there was sooo much walking to do from city hall to suntec area then down to singapore flyer and back to city hall again. lol.***
