happy chinese new year eve's eve!(: its the time of the year where everyone is busy buying food, clothes and stuff; cleaning the house; washing curtains, bedsheets, toilets and stuff and all that. but this year, on general i noticed that every where seems rather quiet as compared to previous years. people seem to be cutting down on their spending and that could be because of the economic downturn. :/ just today where the market is supposed to open till the next morning. however when i went there around 9 plus, most of the stores have closed and the market place lacked the buzz and jive that was usually found around this time of the year. hopefully economic will start to pick up soon in this new year to come. anyways, its a happy festive so i will try not to think about all this negative stuff! but rather think about what this new year of the cow might bring. the year ahead seemed rather busy for me as i have to constantly work hard in my career and my studies and complete my diploma successfully. plus, not forgetting all the responsibilities my career will bring. like my mum said, "in the year of the cow, you have to work hard like a cow to be successful" and that is how i see myself working this year - just like a cow. haha. besides that, as usual, im looking forward to the cny where i can finally take my mind off work and studies for that 2 days and enjoy myself to the max. ((: and im looking forward to catching up with my dearest cousins and relatives. not forgetting the most important thing is to spend time with my family and enjoy my grandma's wonderful cooking! haha. furthermore i have been so busy with work and studies to help in the preparation for cny. so means to say, i didn't really pack my room much and stuff like that. haha. in fact, my papers, books and files are still lying on my messy study table as i type. maybe i should get a big cloth to cover them up! because i don't think it will even stay neat if i tidy it. haha. :x okay, guess i would blog more tomorrow! hehes. (: looking forward to the family reunion... Labels: Festive, Rants
