yesterday was val's 21st birthday party at ZIRCA. lol. to be truth, it was only yesterday then i realised that the old MOS is called ZIRCA. haha. oh well, im not really the clubbing sort of person.

and i was supposed to go to the party with jen and her bf, as initially yoyo couldnt make it. but im glad with the way things turned out! yoyo was able to come with me! and we spent a rather unsual night together before the party. haha.

firstly, it was one of the few rare times when we went out together only when the skies are dark. usually we would go out early in the day and spend the whole day together. then when i reached the mrt station, my beloved little black pumps tore by the sides! and it was pretty hard to walk without much grip! oh well, the shoes is more than 2 years old! so we ended up going to jurong east to get me a new pair! next we had dinner together and off we headed down to town! and then i had pretty bad stomache and was stuck in the toilet for pretty long! plus suddenly i had cramps and all nonsense! haha. which lead to us reaching the club pretty late...

and im not one who really goes clubbing, but the only reason was because its my best friend's 21st! and i will not miss her party, never in the world! haha. and and i gave her the birthday present! hehe. ((: i'm glad she like her present. especially when she open it, the look on her face says it all! hehe. hugs!

and we pretty much stood around, chit chatting and catching up with friends. but you dont really call screaming and shouting above the loud music chit chatting. haha. but im glad to see my sec sch friends and people like roger and maggie over there!

and they pulled us to dance in the cage at rebel. well, actually its my 2nd time there. the first time was when it was still MOS. the music was good, but the crowd was pretty overwhelming. and seriously, i really admire those girls who could dance with high heels on! haha.

and i must say, boyfriend was really sweet the whole night. he stood by me, protected me from weird dancers, danced with me and looked after me! hehe. thank you my dear! ((:

well, it was a pretty good experience, but still its not really my type of life. i slept at 3.30am and woke up at 8! i guess im still pretty much a morning person after all! and im getting pretty tired now! haha.

okays, tioman here we come!

weee! im excited about my birthday party later in the evening! ((:

partly because i haven really have a birthday party since i kindergarten years? and im not really sure on what to expect or how to feel during my birthday party. haha. but anyways, i have been longing to celebrate my 21st with a big party because... since 16th i wanted one but my parents said probably when i turn 18th. and when i turn 18th i wanted a party but my parents say no, instead have one when i turn 21th. so here am i, going to turn 21 in a few days time! and its time to celebrate! ((:

at 21, i really want to thank my parents for bringing me up to who i am today. years ago i completed psle with moderate grades, fight through my sec sch life half passing and failing chinese and math. playing a whole lot, mixing around with different groups of friends (meeting some great friends to keep - val&jen), entering poly, school of technology of the arts, striving hard, getting good grades, met my dearest, taught tuition part time, shot my first short film, won top 10 for fbn, graduated with diploma with distinctions, went to be a wedding videographer, met different kinds of clients, worked in a childcare as an assistant teacher. and now at 21 i never know that at this age i would be able to become a form teacher of a bunch of lovely 23 nursery 1 children under my care. wow, thats nearly my whole life in summary.

and this picture below is a little pin that my mum kept for me. this little pin was used to clip my nappies when i was probably few months old! which means that it is nearly 21 years old too! thank you mummy for keeping this for me! haha. ((:

so irritated with blogger! or rather the person that created my previous blogskin. they actually removed the image source from photobucket. means my skin have those silly photobucket error that states that the image is no longer there. ): so i have to find a new skin. thus, thus colourful one is the one i have chosen! as i didnt really want to change much of the style so i just changed the picture. haha. ((: at least it is still bright and colourful!

and im starting to get excited about my upcoming birthday celebration this saturday!!! ((: im preparing my pretty pink guest book. do remember to write some message and sign your big name! haha. i will be providing alot of pink pens and markers! lol. part of my stationery collection. ((:

but,,,, i haven really found new clothes to wear for my party! awww, looks like i have to put on something i already own. been trying to find something nice for the past month! but found nothing nice yet. ): initally i wanted to check out roxy last week. but the one at heeren was closed for some reason... and the one at PS had closed down! talk about luck. haha. anyways, i did bought some other random clothes, but none for my birthday! haha.

and today i received one of the best birthday present ever. i made it through my $300 expensive british council english exam! which means to say, i passed with a good grade of band 7 (where 9 is the maximum and 5 is the passing grade). i was supposed to get at least 6.5 for i only got C5 for my olevels where at least B4 is needed to take further studies in early childhood education. weeees, so i can enrol and start studying by this year or else next year all school fees will increase by the double and so is the studying time from 1 and a half year to 3 years! omg, thats a whole lot of time! therefore, im so happy that i need not waste so much time studying and that i save myself from the terror of sitting for the nerve-recking english exam and another 300 bucks! lol.

on top of that, i had a rather nice birthday. well, the dinner was nice. but work was... not birthday ideal scenario i must say. well, lets not talk about the unhappy things which will make me unhappy again. but rather, thank my wonderful friends, val, jen, thomas and mushin who took time off to come down and join me for dinner at Indulgz Bistro. Nice food again, but a little too ex for some items. thou it was a great place to catch up and slack around! haha. and also thanks for the wonderful presents from my darlings! i love you dears. (:

before my actual birthdate, my parents also celebrated with me and bought me an icecream cake! first time in my life i had an icecream birthday cake! cookies&cream with chunky chocolate to be exact. -lovesloves. (: my dad also cooked up a storm of all my favourite dishes! hehes. feel so blessed to have such wonderful parents.

i also celebrated with my darling cousins! where they took the effort to prepare a delicious japanese meal with all my favourite food! haha. aint i lucky? plus they surprised me with the little colourful jelly and super cute cards! big hugs to them! ((:

well, the only thing really missing was the boy i guess. haha. and thou the birthday is over, there will still be celebrations to come, i guess. probably one at batam and one with him. (: and i really really miss him (more than words can say).


but still, i cant help to feel that im sooo old now. like i just hit the big TWO ZERO. and im a TEENAGER no more. so i guess i gotta learn to grow up and act my age! haha. x) which life goes on, i know that all the wonderful memories will stay in my heart.

- 13th - 14th September, Batam Trip!

and im looking forward to all of those. plus, waiting to watch Wall-E.

haven had the time to really sit down and update on my dear bloggie. so here i am with my uploaded pictures really to let it speak on its own! haha. (:

Last Friday wei and I celebrated princess janey's birthday at a cozy little cafe: Induglz.
It was quiet and comfy, just about the best place to catch up on each other's life and to act like crazy fools without people staring at us. haha.

NEXT, was a fashion show that my company was hired to video. Style @ Centerpoint by Club Marc. it was a good experience to see how video shooting works in a fashion show. and of course, feast for the eyes to see those pretty and classy models strutting around showing their stuff.

This are the 2 models that i like looking at. The first one had her own kind of style when she cat-walk around while the other one was just plain sweet and pretty looking that makes me want to keep looking at her. haha. well, if only it was shot with an SLR, i guess it might have looked better. haha.

it's been a really really busy and hectic week. haha. with the part time job and stuff. butbutbut, i finally saved enough money and bought my long awaited creative zen at the recent IT show. (: take it as an an advanced christmas present for myself. i was really lucky that i went down there to get mine. cause i received a pretty sum of free gifts! haha. they gave me 3 screen protectors, power adaptor (usually they only have USB charger), a set of speakers and a casing! haha. awesomeee. now it has became my new toy.

and everything has been going prettysmoothly now. i hope it goes on this way and probably having more jobs in! haha. plus graduation is around 6 weeks away not including holidays. oh my. 6 weeks. and my fyp still not completed. better get down to doing some stuff now. lol.

on the high high note, today is YOYO's birthday! (:

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO ME! (:
yesterday i celebrated my birthday with my loved ones. and it was really a memorable experience. that includes eating really awesome food and watching the cutest pixar's (rat-ta-too-ee) and also making my very own soft toy. :X not forgetting the sweet moments of blowing candles and receiving presents. loves the pleasant surprises. hehhes.
i feel blessed.

and now, im offically 19 years old. sounds so old. lol. and its probably the last time i will be the age with a -teen at the back. next year its going to be twenty and sooo on. funny how last time when we turn 14 we want to faster turn 16 so we can watch nc-16 shows and stuff. then when we turn 16 we want to remain at 16. but we carried on to 17 and want to remain at 17 and now. im 19. hahah.

but still im very touched that many still remember my birthday and wished me happy birthday. (: Loves to all.

and finally the stupid ear inflection i had recovered. it caused me lots of pain, irritation and deprived me of my favourite SEAFOOD. it started of like a pimple and it grew into something big and painful. so much so that it hurts when i talk. the first time i went to see the doctor, he gave me medicine that didnt really help? it continue growing and even had some weird pus coming out of it. GRRrrrs. until i went to another doctor that gave me better medicine and i slowly felt that it is recovering! haha. and lucky it healed intime for my birthday! (:

sometimes you dont really feel the importance of some of your body parts until something happened to them. you know that even if it is a small part, it can cause huge discomfort to your entire body. hahas. no wonder they say health is wealth. (:
