"
top on my mind now would be my final year project, pp presentation, work, graduation, driving, etccccc." this was what i said in the last few days of 2007, last year.
***
and now its 2 days to 2009. but honestly, i don't really feel any excitement for this coming new year. it's like time passes so fast for me to even have time to sit down and think about making new year resolution and stuff like that. even as i type this blog entry down, another million things run through my mind like how am i going to make new children in my class feel comfortable or how will i entertain them and keep them engaged to be in this class of mine and how to decorate the class even better and when will i have the time to compete my assignments for my school work. gahhhh. work and more work.
but still, here are my TOP 10 achievements in 2008 (in no particular order)1) getting my driving license
2) graduating with diploma with distinctions and best achiever in sta
3) experience working in media industry for 1/2 year
4) found my dream job in a childcare for the other 1/2 year
5) started studying a course related to my interest and work
6) got a new wakeboard, new pink laptop, new poloraid, new instant printer
7) celebrated the first teachers day as a teacher
8) first time to be a 'sister' in a wedding
9) went for a short holiday with my friends
10) received my first bouquet of flowers
this year went rather well for me but it did had alot of challenges and ups and downs for me to encounter. but im glad i have made it through and learnt alot from the process along the way. hopefully in 2009, everything would be much more smooth sailing and i do look forward to the new year to come.
in short, that was 2008 for me. what about yours?HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 (in advanced)

its the last weekend of 2008 and here i am stressing over my new class and the 1st day of school which will start tomorrow. how nice to end the year with stresss. gooosh! and to think that besides class preparation i still have my schoolwork assignment which is piling up as the deadline draws closer... ): i do hope that the little children will enjoy coming to my class and having fun in that environment. the theme for my new class is: SUMMER SUNSHINE. (: bright and shiny, filled with yellow and orange colours for the matter. well, mainly because i couldnt get the pink chairs and had to settle for the yellow ones. haha. at least it wasnt blue! haha. ***on the bright side, i had one of the best christmas this year. ((: on christmas eve, even though i had to work, it was fun and relaxing with the children as we fed them with all the christmas goodies and singing christmas songs like jingle-bell for 10 times in a row! haha. and the night ended with a superb dinner at jane's house with all the nice home-cooked dishes by the loving aunites. plus the company of my cousins where we cam-whored the night through and watched little nyonya with the whole extended family! haha. plus christmas day was spent having dim-sum with mummy for brunch and shoppping! ((: i rewarded myself with a nice white leather bag! haha. its not cheap, but it was on offer and who can resist offers? haha. and followed by a trip to meet the love who surprised me yet again with a gift i never thought i would receive! ((: and i couldnt stop grinning! i received a little instant photo printer which can print 4R photos at a cost of 30 cents each with cute borders and cliparts in it! (: just something i need for my new class in time to come as i decorate the class with the cute photos of my cute babies! ((: and i am one very happy girl. (: Labels: Festive

13th december 2008: Jean's wedding.
theme of wedding: shades of pink.

it was the first time i get to be a sister. and it was indeed rather fun! haha. ((: and of course the feeling of being a sister and a videographer is sooo different. no doubt sister is much more fun! lol. and more responsiblities to make everything run smoothly for the couple on their special day. and for me, my responsiblities included: sitting at the reception table, looking after the hangbao box, ensuring the table-table photo taking goes smoothly and have fun sabo-ing the groom! hahha.
besides that, i was really inspired by my cousin and cousin-in-law during their wedding and realise that wedding is not just a day for you to look pretty but rather, alot of thoughts and consideration to be put into before the special day can take place between 2 lovers. my cousin really gave me a good insight to love. haha. ((: plus the best part of the wedding would be the aftermath in the bridal suite. it was pure relaxation after a long day. plus the wedding was a lunch rather then dinner so we ended around 6 and slacked at the super nice and comfy suite till 11 plus without moving much from the sofa. haha. ((: it was fun bonding time with the cousins.

(see above picture) am i lucky to have so many guys to give me a big bunch of flowers? hahah. for once it felt kind of good! but mind you, this only happens when they are your cousins! haha. still, i love them all! ((:

Meet my new class, Nursery 1 2009. (:
and i'm starting to love my new class as i will continue to be with them to see them grow for the whole of year 2009. this photos were taken on the day we went for the field trip to Marina Barrage.
A pretty sweet and nice place with good views over looking the singapore flyer and the CBD area. apart from that, there are plenty of pretty spots for pleasant photo taking! haha. plus its a good place for a little picnic like what we have with the children! we ordered mac and all teachers and children had that for lunch. haha.

and the picture above is one of my favourite picture out of all i have taken. the picture just tells how the little children feel. (: seeing it just makes me happy too. (:

today was a fun day too! i went out enjoying with jen at Wildwild Wet! well thankfully the weather was not that hot and sunny and it was not rainy. we practically made full use of our money by riding all the rides there and even went to the foam pit to soap our self among the crowd! haha. (just like zouk-out in simple form) we even had our cheap thrills by playing at the children's playground too. but i guess best was the massage pool it was the most relaxing part of the day where we just sit there under the cloudy sunshine chit chatting and letting the strong current of the water to massage our backs, knees, tummy and legs. lol. that was indeed some what heaven, thou spa would surely be better i guess. haha. better den nothing thou.
and i guess it was the company that made it fun too! hehes. ((:
