we went to Marina Square for a little walk before our movie. and we chance upon this random scooping toy machine! and they are seriously money eating, machine! haha. yoyo always wanted to try to win something from the machine! so we had to pay 3 dollars for 2 credits. and i guess he tried about 20 bucks and we got several toys! haha. most importantly, out of the many little cute toys he got me the little blue cute cuddy smurf that i wanted!!! hehehes. ((: thank you so much! haha. it was really fun, and exciting to play with the machine. the first few times he tried, it wasnt really good as we couldnt catch the timing to scoop the toy. slowly, it became more and more exciting as we finally got the timing to scoop and push the toys! hehe.
and that took my mind of my stress and work! haha. ((: Look at my collection of cuties! (:
next was our movie. 2012.
it lived up to its expectation to as a blockbuster movie. especially the CGI effects, the disasters and earthquake never seem more realistic. the 2 and a half hour movie kept my blood rushing and heart plumping nearly every minute. well, except for the parts when there were conversations, it was time for me to catch my breath. Watching this movie made me think alot. When the movie ended, i was shot back to reality, with my mind in a daze. It is indeed a thought provoking movie. It clearly displays the ugly and unkind side of mankind. Why is it only the people who have status or who are rich gets saved, when all else dies? Ultimately most people like you and me would be driven by the power of love we have for our loves one to pull us through. And i totally cannot imagine what will happen if i have to really withness the end of the world. =/
But anyways, back to reality, it was an enjoyable and relaxing day! (:
